Adanacs Add Depth for Playoff March

To add depth to their defensive/transition core as the Junior A playoffs approach, the Coquitlam Jr Adanacs announce that they have acquired Graham Weidenhammer from the South Fraser Stickmen. In return, the Stickmen receive the Jr A’s 5^th round selection in the 2009 midget draft and the junior playing rights to Travis Irving (Maple Ridge) who was drafted in 2007 in the second round.

“Graham is a 6’1”, 220 lb right hander who is in his third year of junior eligibility,” GM Ken Wood says. “He adds good size and good hands to our back end and transition game which is the type of player you want to try and add to your team for the playoff push.”
