Jr Adanac Alumni to Guide Int A Adanacs

The Coquitlam Jr Lacrosse Club is pleased to announce that Ryan Boivin and Jordan Ditchfield will take over the reins of the Intermediate A Adanac lacrosse team for the 2008 season. "Both Ryan and Jordan are alumni Junior Adanacs and both have been very successful coaching our Intermediate B program in past years", said Club GM Ken Wood. Ryan Boivin, along with Mike Quinn, who will also make up part of the coaching staff in 2008, and a fellow alumni, led the Intermediate B's to a season undefeated and captured the gold medal in the Provincials.

Jordan Ditchfield has also had success at the Intermediate B level in Coquitlam, capturing back-to-back gold medals. Jordan was an assistant coach during the 2007 season at Intermediate A. Scott Hanssen will make up the fourth member of the coaching staff, bringing together the four guys who have been the most instrumental in the Coquitlam Intermediate program. "We expect that this group of young guys, who know what it takes for players to make that big jump from Midget to Intermediate and then Intermediate to Junior, will best prepare our up-and-coming players for our Junior program", Wood said.
