Tosh Nishimura, General Manager of the Coquitlam Junior Adanacs, is extremely pleased to announce the Head Coaching staff of both the Junior "A" and Intermediate "A" Adanacs for the coming 2012 Box season.

For our Junior "A" team, long-time Coquitlam resident and former Coquitlam Junior Adanac Neil Dinsdale will be assuming control as Head Coach. Neil was someone who fit the mold of a perfect candidate for this position having been a former Junior Adanac and having deep roots to the local Lacrosse Community. He has excelled continuously in his Coaching background including Coaching 5 BCLA Box Provincial Championships, 5 BCLA Field Provincial Championships and Team BC U19 National Championships claiming a Silver Medal.

Having played his Minor Lacrosse in Coquitlam, Neil appreciates the links his Junior team needs to have with Minor Lacrosse to help grow the game locally to continue to produce top Lacrosse players ready for NCAA College Lacrosse or Senior Lacrosse. Neil lives in Coquitlam and has been a Realtor since 1986.

At the same time, we are also extremely excited to announce that Steve McKinlay will be Head Coach of our Intermediate "A" team for the upcoming 2012 season. Most know Steve for his tenacious play with the Senior Adanacs and his involvement with Coquitlam Minor Lacrosse running their Development Programs. He hopes to bring his winning attitude to the Intermediate "A" team and will be announcing his Assistant Coaches shortly.

Steve comes with an extremely long list of impressive playing and Coaching credentials. As a player, Steve grew up playing his Minor Lacrosse in Coquitlam and then continuing on to the Intermediate "A" Adanacs, winning the Championships in 2003. From 2004-2006 Steve played for the Junior "A" Adanacs serving as Team Captain for the 2006 campaign. After an illustrious Junior career, Steve was drafted by the Senior "A" Adanacs in the 1st round, 4th overall. Also at this time, Steve received a scholarship at Ohio State University where he played for the famed Buckeyes winning the Conference in 2008. The Washington Stealth of the NLL also rounded out Steve's playing resume playing Professionally from 2008-2010.

As a Coach, Steve has numerous High School, State, Provincial, National and International accomplishments in both Box and Field Lacrosse as well as running Development Camps with Partner Tim Campeau at LaxOpp.

The Coquitlam Junior Adanacs are extremely fortunate to be able to utilize Adanac Alumni to continue our winning spirit and to help guide our two "A" teams for the upcoming season. Both Steve and Neil will work very closely with Curt Malawsky, Director, Player Development, on the upcoming Identification Camps.
